Migrateful's chef training fundraiser

Our fantastic tenant, Migrateful is an award-winning charity and social enterprise supporting asylum seekers, refugees & migrants in their journey to integration & independence. They do this by training migrant home cooks to teach cookery classes where they share their traditional cuisine and culture with public and private groups. As well as supporting its chefs, the organisation’s mission is to correct harmful narratives about immigration.

Over the last six years, Migrateful has supported 91 cookery class teachers through the running of 3,800+ classes to over 43,700participants. But they're not done yet. In 2024, they’re kicking off the seventh year of Migrateful chef training, which will support 54 new and current migrant cooks on their journey to becoming confident cookery class teachers.

They are seeking funding to support their next chef training programme. To help reach their fundraising target, Aviva Community Fund will provide live match funding up to £250, meaning a little really can go a long way.
