Some of the top coffee shops and restaurants in the local area - ideal for a working lunch, quick coffee or just a break from the office routine!

Exmouth Market has so much to offer by way of food, drink and good buzzy vibes!

Clerkenwell still feels like a well-kept secret despite its central London location. It has a radical history, having been the home of working-class political movements, thinkers, writers and more. With tech start-ups, media companies, galleries and gastropubs, it remains an intellectual and creative hub to this day.

We’ve been exploring the area and curating some great places to hang out. Read on to see a fantastic list of things to do in Clerkenwell.

The Best Coffee Shops In Farringdon

If you need a morning pick-me-up before your working day,  you’re spoilt for choice! Some of our personal favourites include…

·Briki

Quaint and boutique café right in Exmouth Market which carries a chic, European vibe. Great for a morning croissant and coffee if the commute in has been a particularly tough one!

·Powerhouse Coffee

Powerhouse has been serving up delicious coffee since 2009. The coffee is the star, but they also do breakfast and lunch, if you’re looking for a quick bite to eat.

·FBC Café

And who could forget, the FBC café itself. Our onsite bustling café is a great space to grab delicious, barista brewed coffee as well as catch up with the community here at FBC.

The Best Places For Lunch In Farringdon

Need a quick bite between meetings? Or looking for a sit-down meal in Farringdon? We’ve got you covered! Here are some of our favourite spots for lunch in Farringdon and nearby Clerkenwell.

·Caravan

A true favourite, Caravan is ideal for a team get together or casual client lunch — serving up small plates to suit veggies, vegans and meat-eaters alike.

·Moro

· Moro combines the best of Spanish and North African cuisines to create a truly unique fusion. It’s a staple of Exmouth Market and well worth checking out. It’s trendy and relaxed for a bit of lunch. Be sure to check out Morito next door, the more informal sister tapas joint where Ian goes when he wants to feel like he’s on holiday for a dreamy hour or so!

·Santore

· Santore is an authentic, family-run Italian restaurant in the heart of Exmouth Market. It’s friendly, cosy and much loved by FBC members.

So there you have it! Our recommendations for top places to dine out at or grab a coffee in Clerkenwell.
