Independent and family-run since 1983
FBC Clerkenwell is an independent, family-run workspace on Bowling Green Lane in Clerkenwell. Martin Hudson founded the Finsbury Business Centre in 1983 to give small businesses a home in Clerkenwell, and today his sons continue that pioneering work.
We're not part of a chain or a property fund. Our building is a former 1930s printworks, and every studio is different, so members are free to make their space their own.
Today FBC is home to start-ups, scale-ups, charities and creative businesses, with private studios, coworking, meeting rooms, event spaces, an on-site café and a fantastic all-weather roof terrace, a few minutes' walk from Farringdon station.

Yes. FBC Clerkenwell is independent and family-run. It was founded in 1983 by Martin Hudson and is run today by his sons. We're not part of a workspace chain or a property fund.
What kind of workspace do you offer?
Private studios, coworking desks, bookable meeting rooms and event spaces, all in a former 1930s printworks in Clerkenwell.
Can I hire event space at FBC?
Yes. Our spaces can host anything from meals and talks in the board room to drinks on the roof terrace and lawn bowls in the courtyard, serviced by our on-site catering team.

What's included?
Superfast Wi-Fi, staffed reception, café and kitchen, an all-weather roof terrace, showers, bike storage, lockers, private phone booths, cleaning, business support and secure 24/7 access.

Members have secure 24/7 access. Reception is open Monday to Friday, 08:00 to 17:00.
